A seven-year-old British boy is thought to have been electrocuted when he plugged his Game Boy into a room socket at the Sunset Beach Resort on Patong Beach, Phuket, Thailand. The parents of Connor Dean O‘Keefe, found him slumped on the floor of the room, according to local reports.
Local police who have been investigating the death believe it was a tragic accident and say that the hotel was not to blame. The hotel management think that Connor may have been wet after swimming when he plugged the Game Boy in, leading to the fatal electric shock. Connor’s mother however, is adamant that he knew of the dangers of electricity and was not wet when electrocuted .
