Banyan Tree group to invest US$200 million in luxury resort.


The Banyon Tree Group has signed a tentative agreement with the Lang Co Economic Zone to operate a luxury hotel and spa in Vietnam. The 200 hectare complex will include 2,400 rooms. This follows similar investments in 22 countries worldwide, part of the chain's aggressive marketing plans. Coming up are six new projects in the UAE (United Arab Emirates) part of the groups push into the Middle East. Morocco and Bahrain are another two countries where Baynan Tree plans to open hotels.
